We are an emerging research group based in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences at the University of Barcelona.

Our research focuses on developing innovative synthetic methodologies by integrating reaction space charting with multicomponent reactions (MCRs). This strategy accelerates the discovery of new reactivity patterns and enables the rapid construction of diverse and structurally complex molecular scaffolds.

This approach streamlines the development of bioactive small molecules, chemical probes, and next-generation therapeutics. By combining expertise in synthetic chemistry, chemical biology, and molecular discovery, our laboratory aims to create tailored chemical tools to study, monitor and modulate disease-relevant biological pathways.

Moreover, in Collaboration with the Lavilla Lab, we lead a research group of Facilitated Synthetic at The Institute of Biomedicine (IBUB).
